How LineLayer decides what gets through

Your rules are checked on your device before an eligible incoming call reaches you.

  1. Incoming call

    Android sends eligible incoming calls to LineLayer through its call-screening system before the phone rings.

  2. Your rules are checked

    LineLayer checks the protection rules you've turned on — block and allow lists, contacts-based rules, country rules, and Smart Protection if it's enabled.

  3. A local decision is made

    The call is allowed or blocked based on those rules — decided on your device, not in the cloud.

  4. You can see why

    The result appears in LineLayer's call history along with the specific rule that applied, so nothing happens silently.
